As creatives, we have a naturally profound respect for mother earth and all her offerings. So when Earth Day rolled around last year Acrobatique Creative geared up to honor our planet in ways that only we can. Entering into the 46th year of the Earth Day movement which continues to ignite activism for preserving our planet, Acrobatique Creative aided in showcasing to the world how much Pittsburgh has transcended itself from a Steel Town. Pittsburgh Earth Day celebrated all things gloriously green at venues and parks stretching across the city. The affair lasted the entirety of the day and culminated at The Fairmont Pittsburgh for the Sustainability Soirée. DJ Detour was on hand to tune the ambience to the right setting, along with dancers from Staycee Pearl Dance Project and Postjazz Artists of the Pillow Project. Over 200 attendees commemorated Pittsburgh’s progression in evolving from “steel to sustainable.” Guests sipped signature Wigle Whiskey Mojitos, served with Earth resembling ice cubes (we don’t miss a thing) and exulted in the capstone of the evening: the Eco Fashion Show. Models brought over from Docherty Talent & Modeling Agency spellbindingly cascaded the staircase adorned in designs by local artists. Through the auction off of a painting by the one and only artist, Baron Batch, and photographs featuring Docherty models by Tom Cwenar, Laura Petrilla, Becky Thurner-Braddock, and Frank Walsh, nearly $3,000 was raised for Tree Pittsburgh! Our goal with this celebration was to perpetuate the growth of a more sustainable Pittsburgh, in every facet of life here. We strive to endorse more people and businesses to continue to grow our vision of a circular economy.   Acrobatique Creative’s ability to get people involved in Earth Day is only one platform from which we can springboard our creative vision to reach unforeseen heights . Our goal is to strive to leverage one’s passion and reach their full potential.

Whether it is high flying aerialists performing over a strobe light laden disco floor, eco-friendly fashions curated by local designers using renewable materials, or chocolatiers flown in from across the Atlantic to sculpt the signature Pittsburgh Bridges out of chocolate, Acrobatique Creative is a branding, marketing and production firm that makes magic happen.
